Terry Fox and Story-Telling

We had another full, fun-filled week today at school! We had our first visit from our TIA (The Integrated Arts) artist.  Her name is Leigh-Ann and she is a story-teller and actress. Here we are in action:
 

We learned all about Terry Fox and his Marathon of Hope before walking around the school halls in his honour (the fields were too muddy!).

Colour Days - Week 1

What a week!  We celebrated colours all week with great outfits, colourful snacks, and cute crafts. We played colour games on the Smartboard and sang colour songs.

 

Dot Day!

We had so many polka-dotted cuties at school today!! 

We started by reading The Dot and recognizing how one little mark can turn into amazing things. We celebrated by using many kinds of mediums to create beautiful art.
